How to choose between the two perms
Start with how you want your hair to look on a normal day.
- Design perm (₩90,000): adds wave, texture and movement. Choose it if you want your hair to look styled without effort.
- Iron perm (₩150,000): uses a heated tool to set a defined pattern. Choose it if you want a more precise curl or a shaped finish.

What a men’s design perm can do
Typical goals are body on top, loose movement through the sides, or a messy but controlled shape. A perm changes how the hair stands, so it helps with flat or heavy hair. It does not replace a good cut, since the cut decides the outline.
Thin hair can get fuller, and thick hair can get shape without needing wax every morning, though results vary.
Think about work or school rules, too. A visible wave changes your look, and it grows out slowly, so choose a style you are happy to keep for a few months.
