What a full-head color covers
Full-head color means the designer applies one color from the roots to the ends of your hair. It is the usual choice when you want to change your overall shade, refresh a faded color or cover the whole head evenly. If only the new growth at the roots needs color, a root touch-up is the smaller job.
Hair color is a family of services, not one. A simple darker or similar shade is often done in one step. A lighter shade on dark hair usually needs bleach first. The designer decides which route fits your hair.
Three menu rows, and what separates them
- Women’s full-head color, from ₩85,000: the lowest women’s price on the menu. Some designers list a higher price.
- Women’s color, ₩100,000: a single listed price for women’s color.
- Men’s full-head color, from ₩75,000: the men’s row. See the men’s hair color page for what men usually ask for.
The menu does not say what differs between the two women’s rows beyond the designer and the price. Ask your designer to explain which row applies to your hair before work starts.
How to choose a shade
Start with your current hair, not only the photo. Three questions decide most of the plan:
- How dark is your hair now, and has it been dyed before?
- Do you want darker, similar or lighter than today?
- How much maintenance can you accept as the roots grow?
Natural black hair can show only a small change from color alone. A visible lighter result usually needs lightening first. Cool tones such as ash and warm browns such as milk tea brown each have their own page if you already have a direction in mind.

What to tell the designer
Give the designer the facts that change the plan:
- Every color, bleach, perm or straightening treatment you have had, with approximate dates.
- Whether your hair feels dry, rough or breaks easily.
- One to three photos of the shade you want, ideally in daylight.
- Any scalp sensitivity or past reaction to hair dye.
Photos and plain color words work well. You can also show the length you want to keep, in centimeters. Your designer then confirms the price and the steps.
Aftercare in general
Fresh color usually fades fastest in the first weeks. General habits that help at any salon: wash with lukewarm water, use a shampoo made for color-treated hair, and limit very hot tools. Many people wait a day or more before the first wash, but ask your designer for their own rule.
If your hair is dry from earlier color, a hair clinic treatment can be added. The salon’s hair color services page lists the other color options.
