What a head spa usually includes

Head spa treatments differ between salons, and the exact steps at WENEED Haeundae are explained by the designer. In general, a head spa is made of some of these parts:

• A look at the scalp and hair to see what they need.
• Cleansing, to remove oil, product and dead skin from the scalp surface.
• A scalp massage, usually done with the hands.
• Rinsing and care for the hair lengths.
• Drying and sometimes styling.

Which parts you get, and how long they take, depends on the salon and the plan. We do not state a duration for any WENEED service.

What it can and cannot do

A head spa can leave the scalp feeling cleaner and the body more relaxed, and it can be a pleasant addition to a color or perm visit. It is a cosmetic and comfort service.

It is not a medical treatment. We do not claim that it treats hair loss, scalp disease or any health condition. If you have pain, a rash, peeling skin, open sores or sudden hair loss, see a doctor first. Our menu items are cosmetic.

• Hair clinic: care for the hair itself, such as the basic hair clinic at ₩89,000 or Drama care at ₩140,000.

Who it may suit

• People whose scalp feels oily or heavy by the end of the day.
• People who use a lot of styling product.
• Visitors who want a relaxing break during a trip, after a long flight or a day of walking.
• Guests who plan a color or perm and want their scalp cared for as part of the visit.

It may suit less well if your scalp is irritated or you have a skin condition. Tell the designer in advance, and if in doubt ask a doctor.

Before you book

• Ask what is included and how it is priced, since no price is listed on our menu.
• Ask how long the service will take, so you can plan your day.
• Tell the designer about scalp sensitivity, allergies and recent color or bleach.
• If you plan a color or perm the same day, ask which order is safest.

Chemical services and head spa can be combined, but the order matters. Let the designer decide. Wear or bring a top that suits a wash, and tie back any accessories you do not want to get wet. Allow a little extra time on the day so you do not feel rushed afterward.

Where to find WENEED Haeundae

The salon is at Room 251, 2F Sejong World Plaza Building B, 814 Haeundae-ro, Haeundae-gu, in the Jangsan Station area. It is 71 m from Exit 5, about a 1-minute walk, and open every day 10:00–20:00.
