Planning around a festival schedule

Festival days are busy, and your own schedule may change with screenings, events and travel. Dates and venues for the festival change from year to year, so check the official festival schedule rather than relying on any hair salon page. We do not give dates or venues here.

What we can say is how to fit a hair appointment around a packed week. Choose a day with fewer plans, leave time before any event where you want your hair neat, and ask the designer how long your service will take. Hours at the salon are 10:00–20:00 every day, so there is some flexibility.

Which service for which occasion

  • A fresh cut before a few days of events: a women’s cut is ₩25,000 and a men’s cut starts from ₩20,000. A shampoo + cut for women is ₩38,000.
  • A bangs trim: the bangs cut is ₩10,000 on Jin’s price sheet, which is a quick way to tidy your look.
  • Color: a root touch-up starts from ₩60,000 and full-head color from ₩85,000 for women and ₩75,000 for men.
  • Care before a camera or red-carpet-style event: a basic hair clinic (₩89,000) or Drama care (드라마 케어, ₩140,000) are care items to discuss with the designer. Results vary and depend on your hair.

For all prices, see the price list. For event styling, the salon also lists updo styling and blowout services; the designer quotes those after checking your hair, since no price is listed.

Timing color, perm and cut before an event

General guidance that applies at any salon:

  • Cut: many people prefer a cut a few days before an event, so the shape settles but the ends are still fresh.
  • Color: do it a few days before, not on the same day. New color can look different after a wash or two, and any issue then has time to be fixed.
  • Perm: leave more time. A new perm may look different on the first days, and the designer can say how to style it.
  • Bleach: can take more than one session. Do not leave it for the last moment.

These are general ideas, not promises. The designer decides what is safe and realistic for your hair.

If you have only one free afternoon

Choose the service with the smallest risk of needing a second visit. A cut, a root touch-up or a styling service is usually simpler than a big color change or a perm. If you want a major change, tell the designer how many days you have in Busan so they can say whether it is realistic.

We do not list exact durations for WENEED services, so ask when you arrange the visit. The salon day plan guide shows how to arrange a day around an appointment.

Getting to the salon

The salon is in the Jangsan Station area of Haeundae-gu on Busan Metro Line 2, which also serves Haeundae and Centum City stations. From Jangsan Station Exit 5 it is 71 m, about a 1-minute walk. The address is Room 251, 2F Sejong World Plaza Building B, 814 Haeundae-ro.

We do not state travel times from festival venues or hotels, because they depend on where you start. Use a route planner. Note that the salon is on the 2nd floor and is reached by stairs only, with no elevator.

What to bring

Bring photos of the look you want, a note of your recent hair treatments with dates, and a plan for your day. If you have an outfit or event in mind, a photo of it can help the designer choose a suitable shape or finish. Our guide to the photo shoot and event hair plan has a longer checklist.
