• Standard perm: from ₩75,000, for adding or reshaping curl.
• Setting / digital perm: ₩150,000, a heat-styled perm that is usually chosen for defined waves and curls.
• Volume magic: ₩180,000, for lift at the roots and body.
• Down perm: from ₩20,000, to calm hair that flares at the sides or back.

Prices depend on the designer, length and condition; the designer confirms before starting. A curl-specific cut or styling service has no price on our menu, so the designer quotes it after seeing your hair.

What to tell the designer about your curls

A few facts change the plan a lot:

• How your curls look when they are dry and untouched, not styled. A photo is useful.
• Whether you have ever straightened or relaxed the hair, and when.
• Any bleach, color or earlier perm, with approximate dates.
• How you style them: air dry, diffuser, brush, or not at all.
• What bothers you most: frizz, volume, dryness or shape.

Chemical services interact. Straightening hair that is already bleached, or bleaching hair that has been straightened, can be risky. Honest information helps the designer decide whether a service is safe, or whether to treat the hair first.

Straightening curly hair: what to expect

Straightening for very curly hair usually uses a chemical step followed by heat. The exact steps and timing depend on the designer and the method, and the designer explains them. In general, expect these points:

• Results often last until the hair grows out, so new growth at the roots will still be curly.
• Straightened hair can feel flat at first, because the volume that curls give is gone.
• A root touch-up on a straightening is usually needed later, and the designer can say when. The menu lists root magic at ₩100,000.

If you only want softer, less frizzy curls, ask whether a gentler option or a hair clinic treatment is a better first step.

Care between visits

General advice for curly hair that applies anywhere:

• Use a gentle shampoo less often if your scalp allows it, and condition the lengths well.
• Detangle when the hair is wet and coated with conditioner, working from the ends upward.
• Limit hot tools, and use heat protection when you do use them.
• Dry gently with a soft towel by pressing, not rubbing.

WENEED Haeundae is in the Jangsan Station area of Haeundae-gu, on Busan Metro Line 2. It is 71 m from Exit 5, about a 1-minute walk, and the salon is open every day 10:00–20:00. The address is Room 251, 2F Sejong World Plaza Building B, 814 Haeundae-ro.
