Korean hair salon in Haeundae for foreigners: what to expect
A Korean hair salon usually works by designer: you pick or are assigned a designer, who plans your service and sets the price. At WENEED Haeundae, three of our nine designers each have a price sheet, with a women’s cut at ₩25,000 and a standard perm from ₩75,000.

How a Korean salon is usually organized
In many Korean salons the designer is the center of the visit. The designer looks at your hair, plans the service and often has an individual price sheet. This is why one salon can list two prices for the same service. Korean salon norms vary, so treat this as a general picture.
At WENEED Haeundae, nine designers work together, including Soi Bae (Master Director). Jin, Bitna and Saemi each have a price sheet. Some services cost the same for everyone, and some depend on the designer.
What a Korean menu looks like
Menus often list services by name and a starting price. Look for the word “from”. It means the lowest price. The final price depends on length, density and hair condition. Common Korean terms you may see on a menu include 체인지컷 (a change cut for a new style), 열펌 (heat perm), 디지털펌 (digital perm) and 클리닉 (a hair clinic treatment).
